i was just wondering what the story is behinds HURTs name if anyone knows or has heard of anything despite their overall theme of music being obvious. like an underdog story like led zeppelin or some thing strange like pearl jam

Ive always heard J say stuff like, "the name fits" or "what else would you call this music" sort of thing. I dont know that there is a particular story.

When Loren was in the crib, he dropped his violin on his little legs and his first word was HURT. The rest was history.

Yeah I believe he said something to the effect of "have you listened to the albums? what else could we name the band?" or something like that
