I have not heard pills on the radio even once!!!!
and have not seen it in the charts, is it a single yet???
aren't the band longing too much to get singles out, and that's no good for the promotion for the album...
is this true for all the stations, or is it just my imagination???
stellarwinter
i feel your pain, haven't heard pills here either in CO
Hades
forget what I said, haven't heard it yer, but I saw the rating of the rock station I hear and it's on spot 72!!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF!!!!!!!!!!
i hate that station, they only had wars playing like one month like all the other active rock songs, and even got to the top 10 but just for that short time, while other songs are being played like 30 weeks !!!!
mjn_rock
Its probably not "rock" enough for regular rock stations. Don't know. Its a great song, I would think it would be a big hit if they would actually play it on the radio.
stellarwinter
the "good" rock station here plays pink floyd and crap...pills would own

same for here in minnesota
i doubt our 93x will ever play pills. they barely played ten ton brick
and I NEVER heard 'wars'
Hades
this is so unfair, just when i got to like pills, i mean, I have the cd and even got like 10 friends to like hurt, but still is better hear the music you love in the radio, maybe a well made video would help, and it doesn't have to be expensive, I mean, it's just about a relationship with a addict women, just need some people to play the characters, and they can be the guys and friends of them...
anyway, maybe it's not a good idea because it's still expensive, and u never know if it's gonna be a hit, maybe a home made vid on youtube could make it
tweetfreak
I've heard it a few times on Sirius/XM - I rarely listen to my local station.

Any clue if it was/will be sent to pop radio stations? I'd be curious to see how much airplay it'd get on those stations.
SweetCrow.
All I can say is to request, request, request

Surprisingly enough, it was in the cagematch once.
Unsurprisingly, it lost.
Haven't heard it since.
Zip File Program
I've only heard Pills once here in Connecticut.

If I get the time, can find the appropriate props and actors and can think of a good enough concept, I will have a go, assuming people think it's a good idea and might help expose the band's music. If people think I'm crap, I won't bother.

Just be honest. I'm a big boy. I can take it. This is something I made before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dinvS1Qwvpk

A pills video needs to be, in my humblest of opinions, a behind the scenes look at what makes the Beaver family (leave it to beaver) so damn happy all the time.

I'll see what I can do...
Hades
IT'S ALL ABOUT REQUEST!!!
last 2 days i've been requesting pills with my sister's, my gf's,some friends that like hurt, and my own , names
it worked, pills JUMPED UP 59 places in one day, that meaning that before wasn't being played, and now that is, it's really going into the real positions that reveals the actual importance pof the song in the radio playing ... soooooooo
if anyone wanna make it go up even more this is where u should request it

http://www.q945rocks.com/song-request/
Hades
so, in what chart should we be looking now for pills, cause i've been requesting the song on the texas valley station, and i don't know if I helped, but it's gone from 98 to 24 in 4 days, but i haven't seen it in any rock chart...
so, wich one should it be?

"Kids are different today"
I hear ev'ry mother say
Mother needs something today to calm her down
And though she's not really ill
There's a little yellow pill
She goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
And it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day

"Things are different today"
I hear ev'ry mother say
Cooking fresh food for a husband's just a drag
So she buys an instant cake and she burns her frozen steak
And goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
And two helps her on her way, get her through her busy day

Doctor please some more of these
Outside the door, she took four more
What a drag it is getting old

"Men just aren't the same today"
I hear ev'ry mother say
They just don't appreciate that you get tired
They're so hard to satisfy. You can tranquilize your mind
So go running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
And four help you through the night, help to minimize your plight

Doctor please some more of these
Outside the door, she took four more
What a drag it is getting old

"Life's just much too hard today"
I hear ev'ry mother say
The pursuit of happiness just seems a bore
And if you take more of those, you will get an overdose
No more running to the shelter of a mother's little helper
They just helped you on your way through your busy dying day

SERIOUSLY!!!!
can anyone tell me in what kind of chart , top# list can I find pills, is it tagged as rock? indie? alternative???
because I've looked into a lot of rock charts and none has it, the only one that has it is the station that I listen to, it's today on the 16th place, but it's seems unknown everywhere else

I think it's time for the guys to change to a new single, more alike to the songs that are being toplisted in the charts, something more enrgic and that rock enough to make the guys be on the charts again...
something like Got jealous, Pandora, RMX or FT...
mjn_rock
Heard it in Hard Drive yesterday, first time I've heard it on the radio. Really think it could easily be played on rock, pop, or alternative stations. Catchiest (is that a word?) song hurt has done, so I'm surprised at the lack of play time. Maybe Dreams Away or Well would do better.
Karla loves HURT!!!
well... has this song actually been marketed to radio stations yet as "the next single"? I know they've been saying on stage that it is, but has there been any follow-up on that in radio land? just curious...

this is indeed another thing I have asked myself about, I've not seen that is officially the new single in the forums, but if it's not I;ve made the texas valley station played it as if it were xD
still, I'm thinking that if it's not been announced yet it's been a really long time since WARS, and if it has been announced already, I still think it's time for another song because pills it's not being as catchy as we thought it'd be, besides a lot of bands are getting singles not too far from each other so they never get time without being played
